Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Greater Fort Worth Chapter honored Fort Worth Country Day with a Worthy Award for the School’s new FWCD website (fwcd.org). The award was announced at the 10th Worthy Awards on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Fort Worth Zoo.

The FWCD website team included Digital Media and Content Manager Reggie Johnson, Communication and Constituent Relations Manager Shannon Allen, Advancement Director Sandra Tuomey, and Admission Director Caroline Corpening Lamsens '99

The Worthy Award is the top accolade in a given category, awarded to the best entry that receives an average score of at least 35 out of a possible 40 points as scored independently by multiple judges. Judges score the entries based on research, goals, strategy, planning, quality of execution, and measurement of results that went into a project. Fort Worth Country Day’s entry earned a near-perfect average score of 39.5 points.

The new website debuted on Monday, October 24, 2022. The site builds upon the School’s admission viewbook and theme, “From Here, Anywhere …” and features a Community Hub for current families and alumni, continued easy access to MyFWCD, and a media wall incorporating FWCD’s social media and other content channels. FWCD’s website team worked with United Kingdom-based Interactive Schools to design the site.
