Get ready for the Book Fair, hosted by the Fort Worth Country Day Libraries! Students and their families are invited to join the fun from Monday, December 2-Friday, December 6, in the Moncrief Library. Students in grades JK-6 will visit the Book Fair during designated class times, and parents/guardians are welcome to attend and shop with their child. A flyer went home with students indicating the date and time of the Book Fair visit.

Middle School students in grades 5-6 will visit the Book Fair on Monday, December 2. These students may charge their purchases to their student accounts from December 2-4. Middle School Librarian Kim Gardner will send the Student Account Charge Authorization forms before the event.

This year, FWCD continues its tradition of partnering with a local school to support and enhance its library. Bill J. Elliott Elementary, a pre-K-5 school in Fort Worth ISD on the city’s east side, is this year’s school. The goal is to provide 425 books for their librarian to distribute to the students in January. Join us in spreading FWCD’s love of reading by contributing to this meaningful initiative!

Parent volunteers are still needed to help make the Book Fair a success; no experience is necessary! Volunteer today!

Book Fair hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Friday 8-11 a.m.
