Is your child interested in music? Would you like to see your child experience music lessons but aren’t sure how or when to get started? The Music Prep class in FWCD’s Music Conservatory may be the perfect musical introduction for your child.

In January, the Music Conservatory is excited to launch Music Prep, a new small group program designed specifically for kindergarten and first grade budding musicians. Perfect for all beginners, this class offers an engaging introduction to the world of music.

Music Prep helps young learners build a foundation in music literacy, explore a variety of instruments, and discover their musical interests. Through games, activities and visits from special guests, your child will experience the joy of music while learning about all the instruments we offer in the Music Conservatory.

Two five-week sessions are offered to kindergarten and first grade students on Thursdays from 3:15-4 p.m. starting January 16 (Session I) and March 20 (Session 2). The cost is $175 for one session or $350 for both.  The content will be unique in both sessions.

More information and registration instructions will be sent on Friday, December 4. Questions? Contact Melissa Scott, FWCD Music Conservatory Director, at [email protected].
