Sarah Callahan joined the FWCD community on Tuesday, February 18, as the School’s new Plant Operations Administrative Assistant. Callahan comes to FWCD from Texas Refinery, where she served as the Logistics Clerk for the past year. In this role, she tracked inventory and shipments, performed data entry, and handled accounts payable for freight billing.

Prior to Texas Refinery, Callahan worked in the Aledo ISD in different capacities, with a brief stint at Maverick Driving Academy as the Office Manager. In 2016, Callahan started as the In-School Suspension (ISS) Aide before moving to the High School Receptionist role at Aledo High School, where she served for three years. In June 2020, she moved to the Registrar/Attendance Clerk position, which she held for three years. In this role, she maintained student records, assisted counselors with student enrollment, and responded to student records requests, including college and university transcripts.

At FWCD, Callahan will support Plant Ops Managers and Supervisors, coordinate schedules for meeting rooms, process deliveries, and maintain transportation needs. Callahan looks forward to working with all divisions and departments and the FWCD community.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sarah to the operations team,” said Chelsy Beninate, Assistant Head of School for Operations and Security. “She has hit the ground running, eager to learn our systems and connect with our community. With her prior school experience, Sarah brings valuable knowledge, and we are grateful for the expertise she adds to our amazing team.”
