28 AP EXAMS GO DIGITAL in MAY 2025
The College Board is accelerating its AP Program's transition to digital testing to ensure the continued security of AP Exams. Beginning in May 2025, standard paper testing will be discontinued for 28 AP Exams — these exams will move to Bluebook, a digital testing application that is currently being used to administer some AP Exams as well as PSAT and SAT exams. 

For the first time, FWCD will administer 19 of these fully digital or hybrid digital exams on campus from May 5-23, 2025.

Fully Digital Subjects that will be administered at FWCD
Students complete multiple-choice and free-response questions in Bluebook, with all responses automatically submitted at the end of the exam.

  • AP Computer Science A
  • AP English Language and Composition
  • AP English Literature and Composition
  • AP Environmental Science
  • AP European History
  • AP Latin
  • AP Psychology
  • AP United States Government and Politics
  • AP United States History

Hybrid Digital Subjects that will be administered at FWCD
Students complete multiple-choice questions and view free-response questions in Bluebook. They handwrite their free-response answers in paper exam booklets that are returned for scoring. Learn more about the free-response booklets.

No Change in AP Exam format for May 2025
The exam delivery, free-response section, and portfolio submission for the following AP subjects remain unchanged for FWCD’s May 2025 AP Exam administration:

  • AP 2-D Art and Design
  • AP 3-D Art and Design
  • AP Drawing
  • AP French Language and Culture
  • AP Music Theory
  • AP Spanish Language and Culture
