Forward Together Campaign Reaches Milestone
Fort Worth Country Day’s Forward Together Campaign has achieved an incredible milestone, raising $38.8 million toward the School's ambitious goals. The funds raised are focused on our campaign priorities: the new enhanced athletic fields and track (finished!), the new Lower School building (so close to being finished!), and an $8 million increase in our existing endowment (so very important!).
“The success of the campaign is a testament to the generosity of over 250 families, including current parents, past parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, staff, and local foundations,” said Forward Together Public Phase Co-chairs Heather and Ryan Senter. “This collective support, along with the leadership efforts of our Campaign Chair, William Butler ’96, and the Comprehensive Campaign Steering and Public Phase Committees, has laid a strong foundation for our future. It truly has been a community effort.”
FWCD’s state-of-the-art athletic fields, dedicated in 2022, have already been enjoyed by students and the community. Now, attention is turning to the eagerly anticipated new Lower School building, slated to open in January 2025. View a timelapse video showcasing the building’s progress and a longer video that provides a sneak peek inside. During Homecoming on November 1, the School will offer hard-hat tours of the facility, providing a chance to see firsthand the exciting developments.
In addition to the visible improvements, the campaign’s emphasis on FWCD’s endowment is equally critical. “A contribution to the endowment provides lasting support that benefits students for generations because the returns from those investments help fund essential programs, scholarships, and initiatives year after year. It's like planting a tree that keeps growing, offering shade and nourishment for the School community long into the future,” the Senters said.
With the goal of reaching $40 million, FWCD is now in the final stretch of the campaign. “We are at the one-yard line as we work this fall to reach our overall campaign goal of $40 million,” Heather and Ryan said. “Every gift counts and gets us one step closer to our goal line. We hope you will join us in supporting this historic campaign for our school.”
