Middle School students and faculty honored their fearless leader, John Stephens, on May 18 with a celebration fit for a king! Parent Faculty Association Room Representatives Anne Meals Weiskittel '94Robyn HatfieldLaura NelsonValrie Luskey Eberstein '96Karen FlynnKathryn Carter and Lea Payne '85 joined forces with Kathy Welch, Middle School Registrar, to surprise a man who is very difficult to surprise! 

The FWCD Scott Theater was decked out in green and yellow and Green Bay Packers’ decorations. Middle School faculty member Hester Burdman read a special proclamation honoring Stephens’s more than 30 years of service in the education field and his 15 years at FWCD. He was gifted with a Yeti cooler and a Packers hat, slides and towels from the fifth-grade; dinner and a night at the Stockyards as well as a gift certificate for boots from the sixth grade; a Yeti cooler, golf club covers, range finder, and gift certificates for rounds of golf from the seventh grade and a personalized wooden cooler autographed by the eighth-grade students. The entire Middle School community also autographed a Green Bay Packers flag.
