Thanks to generous gifts from senior softball parents made on behalf of seniors Katie Bruce, Caroline Carmichael, Hannah Cheng, Kyra Gibbons, Reagan Hall, Olivia Kersh, Carden Kimball and Emily Klein, and a commitment from both the Falcon Club and FWCD, there are now lights on the softball field.

“This is a special senior class. Their Middle School record was 12-1-1. In the past three years, they’ve won 46 games, lost 21 and tied 4. In 2021, the Falcons finished second in the SPC, and in 2023, the Falcons won the SPC 3A title. Our North Zone record in this span is 16-0. The 2022 team won the SPC Sportsmanship Award," said Leigh Block, Director of Athletics. “Players from the Class of 2024 have led every major offensive and defensive category the last three years,” he continued. “An interesting tidbit: Seven of the seniors played at least one season together at University Little League. Their team name was the Bananas, and they claimed multiple ULL titles."

We look forward to these eight seniors suiting up one more season for the Falcons. They are setting the standard for future FWCD softball teams, and we look forward to great success under the lights, not just this spring, but for years and years to come.
