Talent. Dedication. Heart. That is what the Slaughter Family Arts Awards (SFAA) celebrates, as it recognizes and promotes excellence and effort in the fine arts community. Founded last year, the Slaughter Family Arts Awards are the brainchild of FWCD alumni Rebecca (Shaw) ’02 and J Mack Slaughter ’02. They formed the arts organization as a way to give back, through both scholarship and performance opportunities, to students who love the arts in school or out of school.

This year’s finalists and winners will be announced in April via the SFAA website and its Facebook and Instagram accounts.
