The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), in an agreement with the BNSF Railway Foundation, has selected Andrew Nober '21 as a winner of the National Merit BNSF Railway Foundation Scholarship. By receiving a Corporate-Sponsored Merit Scholarship, Andrew has reached the highest level of recognition, Merit Scholar, in the annual NMSC competition.

Beginning in March and continuing to mid-June, NMSC will notify approximately 7,600 National Merit Finalists that they have been selected to receive a Merit Scholarship award. The next groups to join the Corporate-Sponsored Merit Scholarship winners as Merit Scholars are the National Merit $2,500 Scholarship winners (notified on May 12), followed by the College-Sponsored Merit Scholarship winners (notified on June 2 and July 12).
