Senior Sawyer Parker was honored by the Heisman Trophy Trust and Acceptance Insurance as a 2021 School Winner in the Heisman High School Scholarship Competition. From an application pool of thousands of high school scholar-athletes graduating in 2022, Parker was one of 5,700 students across the country named a School Winner. To be considered for the competition, students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better, be proven leaders and role models within their school and community, and participate or have participated in at least one high school sport recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, the Paralympic Games, or the National Federation of State High School Associations.

Parker is a three-time recipient of the FWCD Athletics Stansbery Award, which is granted to student-athletes who compete on an athletic team in all three sports seasons in a year - in his case, varsity cross country, varsity track and field, and varsity soccer.
