Band Students Honored by TPSMEA

Gage Fowlkes ’22 (Trombone) and Rocco Leoni ’23 (Keyboard) were named to the Texas Private School Music Educators Association (TPSMEA) Jazz Ensemble. Liz Hazelton ’22 (Electric Bass) was named first alternate. The All-State Jazz Band is an auditioned ensemble comprising students in grades 9-12 from across the state. Students must learn four pieces in various styles and record them to be submitted to a panel of five judges. The TPSMEA All-State Band consists of the top 20 musicians from all who audition. These musicians will perform as an ensemble on January 29, 2022.
