Anna Pakis ’27 was named to the Texas Private School Music Educators Association (TPSMEA) Middle School Honor Choir. The choir is an SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) auditioned choir comprising students in grades 7-8 from across the state. Students must learn two intricate pieces and record them to be submitted to a panel of five judges. Only the top 25 students in each section make the choir. Those chosen work with clinicians on improving their skills and perform in a concert. This year's clinic and concert took place on November 12-13, and the clinician was well-known composer Laura Farnell.
