FWCD’s Teachers Make the Jump

On October 22, Meredith Hudgens Cunningham '04, Third-Grade Teacher; Erica Williams, Middle School iPad Coordinator; and Heather Peace, Upper School Math Teacher, made the jump … from 10,000 feet above the campus with the All Veteran Group. Proud Falcon and FWCD Parent Bill Runyon ’80 was piloting the plane. Sunny Hyde came to campus for a bit of training and spoke to the third-grade classes. The jump was scheduled prior to the Homecoming football game kickoff, but high winds made it so only the professional All Veteran Group team members could jump. Not wanting to disappoint, Runyon and the All Veteran Group were able to make the jump with the teachers happen a week later!
