Athletics Track & Field

Several FWCD athletes excelled over the summer. Here are a couple of our track stars.

  • Jackson Brockway dipped his toe into the world of competitive club track and field, competing for local track power The Fort Worth Flyers. Jackson ran a new personal best over the one lap distance in the 400m, running a time of 53.56 seconds. He also earned a spot on the Flyers’ 4x400m relay squad, which competed well against a tough field, finishing 14th overall at the Junior Olympics.

  • Jeremy Henderson had a stellar summer season in track, also competing for The Fort Worth Flyers.  He improved his personal best twice, running two sub 49 second performances including a new personal best of 48.87.  With that performance, Jeremy is now ranked number 2 in the event in FWCD history behind only the local legend and Super Bowl Champion Patrick Jeffers, whose record of 48.6  has stood since 1991.
